OPEN LETTER TO JEWISH AND ISRAELI PEOPLE

Unfortunately many Jewish people harbor a deep mistrust and aversion to Christians for various reasons, and in many cases, their reasons are justified. The Jewish people throughout history have been have been savagely persecuted by those who have called themselves "Christians", self-righteous people who have never followed the teachings of the Christ whom they claim to worship, or have twisted them to suit their own ends.

A prime example are the Crusaders, who were brutal, greedy, ignorant men urged on by the dictates of equally corrupt, greedy and power-hungry Popes. Using the pretext of "liberating Jerusalem", these "Christian" men savagely slaughtered Jews by the thousands while being told by their equally corrupt, ignorant, greedy and power-hungry priests that their actions would guarantee them entrance to Heaven.

Another example are the Nazis, who called themselves "Christians", and claimed that the war they were waging was a "Christian war". During WW II, my step-mother remembers Roman Catholic priest Father Coughlin of Detroit, Michigan, called the "apostle of the Swastika" preaching that the Germans were waging a war for Christianity. He could not have preached this without approval from the Vatican.

Some "Christians" today say that the Jews are no longer God's chosen people, and heap condemnation upon the Jewish people because of that, but again they are ignorant of the Scriptures and believe what they have been told by teachers who are equally ignorant of the Scriptures.

With this in mind, is it any wonder why the Jewish people have a deep seated distrust, and in some cases, an abiding hatred of Christians?

Please bear in mind that just like all Jews cannot be judged by the actions of other Jews, neither should all Christians be judged by bad examples set by those who call themselves "Christians." True Christians love the Jewish people, and honor them as God's chosen race, for it was from Abraham that the Jewish race sprang, and it was directly from God to the Jewish people that the great promises, salvation, covenants and the Law were given.

I have created a special section in this Web site for those of Hebrew ancestry to visit, and Christians, you would be well-served to read what is in here also.

To the Jews who read this, I am not going to try to proselytize you, but will let the Scriptures speak for themselves concerning issues such as to whether the Jews are still God's chosen people, and whether Yeshua was indeed the promised Messiah, etc. You must make a decision from there as to whether what is written here is correct, or not. Do not take what I say for fact on it's face value. Please research what I have written for yourselves, and be satisfied within your own heart and mind as to whether what I say is correct or not.

All I ask, is that you consider what I have written in this site with an open mind, and seriously consider the issues contained here. For if you come here with a closed mind and hardened attitude, you will learn nothing, and your time here will have been wasted.

If you disagree with me on any issues, please feel free to E-mail me concerning the issue. And please back up your arguments with Scripture, for traditions are just that, and God will not judge us for our adherence and obedience to tradition, but to His written Word.

And thank you for visiting this portion of my Web site, and may the God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob richly bless you as you look through here.

NUMBERS 6:24-26

24 “The Lord bless you and keep you;

25 The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you;

26 The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”
